The City of San Diego advised business property owners of the termination of City-provided commercial refuse and recycling collection services effective July 1, 2011.  Apparently several businesses did not receive the letter, which may have been sent to the owner of the property.

A number of South Park businesses are working with neighboring businesses to contract for refuse and recycling collection.
